After launching the rooftop cargo box series, the Roahtrip team realized that even larger cargo boxes have size limitations when carrying equipment. In response, the rooftop basket was developed to help outdoor enthusiasts break free from the constraints of item shape and size, enabling more flexible loading.

Roahtrip has developed a specialized electrophoretic coating and high-temperature spraying process for metal roof components, significantly enhancing the products’ corrosion resistance and weather durability. The Beast series represents a major breakthrough in assembly technology.

Electrophoretic coating involves immersing conductive metal parts in a solution and applying an electric current to form a uniform protective film that thoroughly covers gaps and sharp edges for comprehensive protection. After a second cleaning, the parts undergo automated high-temperature powder coating, adding a strong “armor” layer that further improves rust resistance. The entire process includes at least 18 steps to ensure complete and thorough protection of the metal components.

Additionally, the Roahtrip rooftop basket features a fully detachable design for easy disassembly and compact storage. While traditional detachable structures often sacrifice load capacity and risk corrosion at connection points, Roahtrip’s innovative structural design combined with electrophoretic technology strikes a perfect balance between convenience and durability.
